Today we’re celebrating four Denver Kids First Year Retention Program (FYRP) students, who received scholarships as part of the recent MLK Business Awards Luncheon. These students opted to continue working with Denver Kids for one year after high school graduation, and these scholarships are helping pay for the spring semester at their respective higher education institutions.
Crystal and Olivia, Denver Kids Future Options Coordinators who work with FYRP students, say it is meaningful to be able to distribute these scholarships because these four students are truly amazing, unstoppable individuals! They are diligent, intelligent, and resilient, and continue to work rigorously to attain their post-secondary goals.
