Meet Our Supporters

Mentor

In addition to their professional Denver Kids Advisor, many of our students are paired with a dedicated volunteer mentor. These mentors are caring, consistent, and trustworthy adults who invest in our students' growth. As role models, they help students navigate life, embrace new experiences, and empower them to pursue their dreams—ultimately transforming their futures. Now more than ever, our students need your support.
One on One Mentoring
  • Meet with your mentee twice a month in person (3-8 hours per month) for a minimum of one year. Suggested outing activities with your mentee may include: spending time at the park, going bowling, visiting a museum, trying new cuisines, chatting, and more!
  • To get started, apply to become a volunteer mentor. Afterward, you’ll participate in an interview, background check, and a pre-match training session to prepare you for the role.
  • As a mentor, you’ll be invited to various optional mentor/mentee events, annual mentor-only networking gatherings, and additional training opportunities.
  • Mentees reside across Metro Denver and are typically middle and high school aged.
